In the beginning, I thought I made the wrong choice for my
eldest daughter who was four and half at the time we joined,
and my son was only three years old. My daughter Maggie
used to cry on the way to classes, and then some more when we
got there. Master Kim remembers her hiding in the
bathroom. I had a private conference with Master Kim and
voicing my concern, and that maybe it was too early for them
to start in martial arts. All he said was to give him a month,
and encouraged me that it will get better. However, what
really stuck with me was the same lesson we were trying to
teach our kids. “Do we want them to quit when things get
tough or scary?”

We
knew then that there was something very special
about this particular instructor.
Maggie is now a
senior blue belt and is flourishing in the sport.
She is also a member of PMAC’s demo team, and is
anxious to start competing. Our son Lance is also
growing in the sport, but most importantly has
learned a lot of life lessons from Master Kim and
Mrs. Kim. He loved the Mighty Ninja’s mat
sessions, which I believe has really helped him
gain the confidence to face some tough choices he
had to make in school and on the playground.
Finally, the best part of being
part of PMAC is the feeling of family.
Once you join, the energy, the
encouragement, and the support you get
from everyone, is priceless.
It’s interesting to watch some of the
older kids spar each other with such
intensity in the sport, and then hug
their friend with true love and
respect after fighting in the ring.

My husband and I could have chosen any other
sport for our children to participate in, or even
another martial arts studio. However, we truly
feel blessed to have found Master Kim and his
Staff, who consistently teach positive life
lessons, discipline, and respect. And we are
so happy and proud to be part of the PMAC family!

"PMAC
is an amazing place to learn, grow and develop.
The awesome staff sees every student as an
individual, going above and beyond to make sure
each student's martial arts experience is the
absolute best. Since coming to PMAC, I have seen
my child become stronger and more confident, while
learning the great sport of Taekwondo. Master Kim
and his staff make PMAC a great place for
families, where parents and children can train
side-by-side in a positive and safe environment.
We are so proud to be part of the PMAC family!"

"Hi,
my name is Kevin and I have been doing Taekwondo for 3 and
half years. I like how Master Kim teaches class. I really like
doing forms and sparring. I love competitions because I got
some gold medals. I also like to do Taekwondo with my mom!"
